Snooping in Marriage.

In this video I’ll talk about three things you can do if there is “snooping” in your marriage.

First of all, I don’t think there is such thing as snooping in marriage! I mean everybody is entitled to their privacy and everything, but when it comes to emails, text messages, or social media, those types of things should be open for your spouse to read. So, here are three ways to keep cool when you realize your spouse has been monitoring things:

1. Be patient. Although it may be a little annoying, or you might even be thinking that your spouse is being unreasonable. But please remember that this is the person you signed up to love for the rest of your life, and you need to help them with their insecurities.

2. Answer questions. If your spouse wants to know who a certain someone is, or of they would like some details regarding something that was said, be willing to be open and make your spouse feel more included in the sense that they are aware, and aren’t out of the loop.

3. Don’t be defensive. Instead of being mad about it, address the reasons why your spouse is not happy with the things they are finding, and it will lead to a huge breakthrough in your marriage. Your spouse has invested so much in you, they married you, and they’re counting on you to include them in what’s going on in your life.

Those are just three simple ways you can handle “snooping” in your marriage.
